YEAR ONE IMPACT REPORT

Founded on Juneteenth 2025, the National Association of Black Bookstores (NAB²) was established to strengthen, elevate, and preserve Black-owned bookstores across the United States. In one year, NAB² grew to 181 members, generated more than $1 million in bookstore revenue, and released the first national data-driven snapshot of the Black bookstore ecosystem.
