NAB2 OMNIBUS PILOT PROGRAM
About the Program
NAB² is partnering with Edelweiss to offer a pilot program for Omnibus, Edelweiss' newly established bookstore operating system. Omnibus brings inventory, ordering, receiving, special orders, customer engagement, and store analytics all together in one platform, with direct EDI ordering between stores and publishers. The NAB² x Omnibus Pilot is a six-month educational program running June–November. Participating booksellers will receive a discounted subscription to Omnibus at $25/month rather than the regular $49/month for the duration of the program.
For the first three months, the NAB² cohort will meet twice monthly for direct lessons and webinars from the Edelweiss team, building familiarity and confidence with the platform. Topics will include an intro to Omnibus, replenishment workflows, receiving, special order management, and team collaboration. The final three months will shift to monthly open office hours with the Edelweiss team, where participants can bring questions, feedback, demo requests, or tips to share with fellow booksellers. Participants may cancel at any time.
Eligibility requirements
To apply, bookstores and booksellers must meet all of the following:
Use Square as their primary POS
Operate as a single-location store
Have been in operation for at least one year
Maintain physical inventory (brick-and-mortar, mobile, or pop-up
